    the takeaway:

    a) you find it challenging to put skis with bindings into a box
    2) your wife throws away your perfectly good gear
    d) "ask" is a noun

    brilliant

You’re all fuq tards- the OP has a real point.

What makes it worse is trying to pass gear along to Jongs.

I’ve taken to giving stuff away- even if I have to ship it.

I could use a little help... (gear survey)

I think there are a # of options out there to swap gear. If you figure out how to fix lazy, you’re onto something.

    Pro Tip:

FedEx has a "hold at FedEx location" delivery option (i.e. your nearby FedEx Office).

I'm not sure if it's available at the retail counter, but if you set up an account, you can do it.

The time investment in setting up an account is paid back on your first shipment (no waiting in line).

What I would like to see is seasonal, regional mag mini summit swap meets. Maybe early Fall and Spring... Being able to throw a bunch of shit, (er, I mean diamond encrusted gear that I know you all want) in the back of the truck, roll into town, spread it out, haggle on price a little and sell some stuff, share some beers with buddies = win.
Maybe we start this with the next BBI? Assuming BBI2020, etc.

The survey was definitely not geared to this crowd (any crowd?). In addition to Next Door, Craigslist, etc, doesn't every town have a "Play it Again Sports" or equivalent?

Add a broker's fee to an already low price, and you're essentially giving stuff away (not saying that the broker isn't earning their pay - rent + labor + other overhead).

I just got notification in my inbox. Neptune Mountaineering's annual gear swap is this Saturday from 9am to 2pm (sellers arrive at 8am to reserve a table).

That has the CO Front Range covered for the Fall.

    I mean sure, but...
I would rather do it before the snow flys when skiing isn’t also part of the days event. That doesn’t mean that it couldn’t be a BBI event though.
