DayuseDotcom
Anyone ever use it? Usually, when I go to europe, I arrive early in the AM. I get no sleep on the plane (unless I eat halcyon, valium or Xanax) and upon arrival I am dead tired. I am lucky in that when I travel abroad, my first stop is at my in-laws where I get to shower and take a power nap. This sets the stage for the remainder of the trip.
Days allows you to land in the early AM, and check into a hotel for a few hrs. to relax, or prepare for the day. The rental period runs from 10AM to 5PM. For me this covers the time up until I am allowed to check into my hotel.
Any way, I may try this in Amsterdam in Dec. I think that a cold wet and windy Dec. day in Amsterdam right after a 9 hr. flight may suck. The best parts are that the rooms are quality, there is no need to secure the reservation with a cc, and if the room at the long term hotel is ready, there is no need to check into the day use hotel. Moreover, if I am not tired upon landing and feel up for a day outside waiting for my room, I suffer no monetary ramifications. It sounds like a good deal.
Anyone ever try it?
