FS: Dynafit Zzeus Touring Boot, 27.5 Cheap!
SOLD - SOLD - SOLD
Price drop $125 shipped. For those that followed my saga in tech talk, you know why I'm getting rid of these. For those that didn't - these were my wife's but they were just too big for her. I tried to make them work for me but my feet do not get along with the Dynafit boots I've tried. I would say these have a generous comfort fit for touring...pretty wide forefoot, medium height instep, fairly wide heel pocket.
My wife probably put seven 1/4 days on these (she really hated them) and I had them out for two 1/2 day tours. The pics tell the story but these are pretty minty. If you want to try out tech binding AT skiing but don't want to sink $800 on a boot, these are a good entry point.
So....here are the facts.
Original liners are long gone...worthless. These have Intuition MV Pro Tours (270) with the stiff flex tongues. Medium flex tongues also included. These have 3 bakes on them so good for a couple more. No footbeds. The stock ones were less than worthless. If you don't need custom footbeds, Intuitions don't need footbeds.
BSL is 312mm. Originals came with DIN soles but I gave those away so tech soles only. Tech fittings have only the 2 aforementioned 1/2 day trips on them so they are pristine.

bump
back in 2007 or 08 I went to local shop and rented every touring boot made. Teh Zzeus was new along with new offerings from BD and garmont i think.....took to the field and tested...inbounds, bc....this is the boot I picked as the best....used this boot (dif size) up until i started going lighter...but have never quit using dynafit boots, in fact, i move my liners from one old shell to the next...titan, tlt, beasts, ones all in the same family that ski hard alpine or light for the skin or bootpack and cautious descent...hands down changed a lot for my skiing and overall outdoor winter experiece...helll i use them on my snowmobile for sled accessed skiing....if i remember correctly the zzeus base sole unscrews and you can replace with alpine...i just tweaked all my bindgings and left the vibram soles on 100% of the time for all bindings...yeah i kno, not supposed to , but whatever....
this is a great entry point to a one boot quiver for inbounds, hike to , slack, yo yo, and back country...looks like a deal on price..if these were my size i would buy just as more back ups...www.freeridesystems.com
