or, crude, theoretically, should be more expensive.

Europe? Really? Do you know how much of our shit is there?

Here's your Houthi drone force (that thing in front of the soldier, not what's behind him)

Saudis use US-supplied weapons to bomb Houthis, Houthies retaliate with avionics and duct tape

From this article, Houthi drones have a better success rate than the missiles, and much more success hitting oil infrastructure than other targets.

Chapeau to the Houthis. Would love to learn more about they pulled off this attack. That was some real can-do shit.
Are there even air defense systems around these installations?

Just started a thread in polyass, was remarking that it would be SO ironic for Bolton to have been pushed out just before some bombs drop...

Oh, yeah, and, if this doesn't prove it, what will. Like Yemen is some sort of military power. It's some dirt poor desert country stuck between the Sauds and water. They've been bombing the shit out of the poor Yeminis for, what, a few years now, with whatever cool military toy that we can provide them, the latest and greatest, and they hit back like this? Jezuz.

Soon enough the region will flare up as the post-US era necessitates a bit of noise around rebalancing power. Iran is and always has been the more competent of the two, though it has all kinds of problems.
Iran's main problem is us. And Israel. Same thing.

FWIW, odds are it was a mom and pop appliance place that drove the part over to the Amazon fulfillment center late last night. No way the local hub has dozens of gas log fireplace blowers on hand.
Still not sold on drone delivery yet though. Gonna be a whole lot of busted shit dropped on peoples' porches before they get that ironed out.
Don’t you have a kid? But your willing to contribute to a huge carbon footprint just for the convenience of next day delivery? Why are you lot sold on the drone delivery? It would likely have a smaller imprint than gas trucks driving all over the fucking place to make American consumers happy they don’t have to wait for a skier more carbon efficient delivery.
