We are not going to war with Iran, and defiantly not over a improvised attack against a non-NATO or five-eyes country who is currently in a proxy war with Iran.

The leash is not a petrochemical, but nuclear one. US knows the saudi ambitions to aquire nuclear knowhow (and reactors...and weapons) and they know it would be the proverbial can of worms in the middle east. Currently saudis can milk US with this approach. Even if both know that saudis would go public with their nuclearisation program, US would start to change the regime.
The floggings will continue until morale improves.

It's all speculative:
- There's evidence the strike might have originated in Iraq or even Iran. Mike Pompeo says there's no evidence the attacks came from Yemen
- The attack might not have been drones at all
- The Houthi used cruise missiles based on an Iranian design in a June 2019 attack

Conspiracy time.
Look at that shot group. Precisely targeted, definitely programmed in advance.
I found the plant on satellite- the bearing of the lines I guessed were around 274.2° True 270.6° Magnetic.
Stretching them out does not go anywhere near Yemen. I've been known to take bad bearings, but I doubt these came from inside Iran. Probably fired from a ship.

Senior U.S. official to ABC:
"Iran launched nearly a dozen cruise missiles and over 20 drones from its territory in the attack on a key Saudi oil facility."

Plus the profits they probably made on all the crude futures they bought before the attack.
Also, what's the chance Elon Musk is behind all this? They probably have a secret drone mfg facility at the Gigafactory.
Puregravity did an excellent job ferreting out the cable mystery at Sea to Sky. We should put him on this one."timberridge is terminally vapid" -- a fortune cookie in Yueyang

I thought one of the key features of drones and cruise missiles was that they didn't have to fly in a perfectly straight line to hit their mark. They can turn and change directions pretty easily. Doing so helps them evade countermeasures... and could make the launch site more difficult to ascertain..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

So, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we achieve energy independence by fracking the shit out of the place so we didn't have to get into some shooting war in the middle east?

Hmmmm.....whats the rogue petrochemical dependent country that requires a minimum of $75 barrel oil to balance its budget? You know, the one whose utterly corrupt leadership is facing increasing political dissent because the collapse in oil prices crippled their economy. Remember those guys, those gangsters who rose to power blowing up apartment towers in a false flag operation? Yeah....I forget....remind me again....who were those guys?

I been getting a oil n gas insider blurb sent to me every week for at least 5 years, a cocktail napkin view of whats happening in the industry world wide, what kind of thing are happening to affect the price , how many full VLCC are sitting in the english channel with no where for the oil to go, the US rig count, civil wars, terrorists ect
basicly it has been saying the price of a barrel of oil is low because the world is awash in oil
this outage will be good for the price of oilLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know
