Spiders don't bother me. Hitting a massive web face first while schlepping through the woods in the dark definitely bothers me though..

Before I had kids, I used to let the black widows gaurds the cracks in the doorway to the garage. They did an admirable job. Nothing got through. Now though, they are not allowed to hang out with the kids around. The one in the original post is the biggest black widow I have ever seen.
I looked at him for a while, and poked him with a stick a bunch before crushing him. And afterwards, I had the Willey's for a while. Weird.

Has anyone mentioned brown recluse spiders? Those fuckers have “necrotic” venom which causes the flesh to die around the bite site. It can get really nasty without proper medical care.
