Unfortunately the fundamentals are correct, water can't support a shear stress except maybe on a very small scale because of friction/surface tension, and therefore can't 'bend' at least in a structural sense. The problem is that that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the curvature of the earth! Just tell her to look up "non-Newtonian fluids" and explain that.

This is the problem with people like this, take some truth, in some instances at least, apply it in a totally incorrect way and then dig in.

Maybe the new gal in HR wants to be my new work spouse, she seems grounded.

Has she said the holocaust and 9/11 were fake yet?

Honestly, if she's going to take the position that because she wasn't there the moon landing didn't happen then there isn't much she can believe in about the world around her unless... wait for it... she was there when it happened. So next time she starts spouting off about anything ask her if she was there to witness it happening.

Back to this water bending thing... what does she have to say about waterfalls?

And furthermore... if the earth was flat wouldn't all the water run off and leave the planet (disk?) dry? Is there a curb around the edge?

I find this all quite vexing.

As a work spouse, do you get to bang her on company time? If not, tell the crazy bitch to STFU. She is not worth listening to such tripe otherwise.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

That's the thing I don't understand. Something just isn't connected properly in a section of the brain. This kook is clearly smart in the fact that he built a trailer rocket and didn't die, but he thinks the earth is flat. Wtf?

    We totally faked that shit.
I agree it's a bit difficult to trust 2nd or 3rd party accounts or evidence. If you knew someone who was involved in any of the missions that doubt is more easily cast aside. My father worked on a guidance system (Pershing Missile System) that was modeled for Saturn V and Buzz Aldrin was his USMA room mate. They remained pretty good friends until the day dad passed.

Also, we'll soon have collaborating or contradictory evidence from China and India's mapping and rover missions. If they see the shit we allegedly left there good luck with the faked narrative.
