Here I am. The elusive half price wizard.

Just buy it online. (only on their website, not on ticket corner !)

And then you can get the tix anywhere. also online if you have your plastic ticket card and the number already. I have not tried that though because I'm usually early so there are no lines at the counter.

Or at any counter with your name (bring ID )
Just say one day ticket please half price voucher. I saved my confirmation as a pdf (I think?) on my phone and showed it to them. Then they wanted an ID. Works fine.
To clarify: the online half price Abonnement (as they call it) has a registration with your name, so fun aliases might not work at the counter, unless you have an ID saying cockky Mc schlong.

I thought it was obvious that "their website" is the one from the NSA.
Certainly Not the ski area you want to ski. But I have to admit the correct link (see busters) is hidden among 12 thousand ticket corner links on their website.

Don’t go crazy buying cards and tickets on line, you can do everything at the counter, it’s smooth and easy

Yeah. But if you're not getting a multi day pass, it's convenient to have the half price abo and just buy the day tix at the counter.

I found my card for last year.

On ticketcorner (links to all this stuff is in the first post of this thread), it looks like it's 225 chf for 5 days.

Abraham, I'm mostly just bumping this for you in case someone else has plans. I know for sure I leave Andermatt to head to Zurich and fly home on March 18 so haven't paid attention to what's going on after that.

If you show up at the Counter without the discount card, you’ll buy the daypass for 84chf and get a free voucher for the discount card, from there on it’s always 42 chf.... basically the same as doing it on line but much easier ( they are having problems with the on line site)

i've seen that happen on a bluebird pow day on the 20th and it takes a while. The line wasnt to happy about it. But if the online system is fucked, it's the way to go.

There's a lot of terrain in the SkiArena, hard to ski it all in a week.

    Don't overlook Davos/Klosters.

Here's a great little hotel 4 blocks from the Klosters train station/tram base: https://wynegg.ch/en/ .

Also, do not overlook St. Moritz. It's generally expensive. One place far out of town is a decent deal: https://www.roseg-gletscher.ch/en/ . There's also a hostel in Pontresina right by the train station that is relatively inexpensive: https://www.youthhostel.ch/en/hostels/pontresina/

I am, but Geneva works well too. I've also used Basel/Mulhouse, but that requires a bus transfer, no train station in the airport.

(edit) Milan is also a decent connection: 4 hours.

Hey guys, I'm finally getting around to working on logistics... My next big unknown is skis... whats the situation with ski hire there? I have dynafit compatible boots. Is it possible to rent a touring setup over there or should I bring my own? Luggage is an issue, as I am traveling for work and will have a full photo-setup with me. Obviously I would prefer my own setup, but given the circumstances, my preference in this particular situation is to rent while I'm there, so I don't have to haul skis + work-gear around 3 countries for 3 days of skiing

Next question: I'm booked at Vendul's for March 15-19th. Does this include meals? Did you guys go elsewhere for dinner last year?

Thanks in advance for the help.
