you don't need to spend a lot of $, just some 2x6 scraps & a hnad full of drywall screws
I just got some blocks of 2x that are wide enough to work on 2 skis at once, build them up in an L shape to make enough clearance for bindings and screw them to my bench with DW screws, a half " wide slot lets me put the ski or board on edge to sharpen edges
edit: if you don't make the slot too wide it will hold the ski for filing when the ski gets thicker in the middleLast edited by XXX-er; 03-19-2022 at 09:46 AM.

Wow! And I thought that having motorized brushes at home was fancy.
I just upgraded from this DIY option (which worked well for me, the wood piece is the same shape of the boot sole, you click it into the bindings and this holds the ski, but Fofette always complained when she used it):

Movable setup to fit a tight space (swap out with bike stuff in the off season)
Long hooks on top are clutch for swapping skis without having to find somewhere to lean them.

Does anybody have a post about using a cut-off 2x4 to snap into tech bindings to then vise the 2x4 for easier / more stable waxing? Thought I saw something in here.
Sorry if this is buried in the thread, but after scanning through I couldn't find it.

I've had good luck using a swappable boot sole screwed to a piece of 2x6.

Here’s my solution. Wife size alpine, my size alpine, and tech version.
I also use a similar piece of wood for my new ski bike rack.
