Was lucky enough to be there! Great recording but sounded even more badass live.

Not enough of a Metallica fan to know the song but it sounds cool.

All seems a bit fishy to me.

Cliff Burton died in a bus crash but before he did was credited with arguably one of metal's best recorded solos:

Scott and I grew up riding (pretty sure he still has his Burton Split Tail), partying, and blowing shit up together, and we played in the jazz and marching bands together. He was formally trained on cello at an early age by his father who directed both me and my mother in our high school bands in the small town we grew up in. Their whole family is musically talented but Scott pick up an electric bass around ~14 years old and never looked back. That said they all play a myriad of different instruments. He's credited with being in the top 50 bassists of all time and plays all over the world performing classical music in old theaters for "preservation" purposes. The guy is rad.Name: 20190813_225633.jpeg

Dang. I like Robert Trujillo a lot, however your buddy coulda been Metallica's bassist instead. Of course I like Suicidal Tendencies way better than I like Metallica. So your buddy is better off right where he is. You can tell him I said that. lol

What does your buddy think of Apocalyptica? I love Four Cellos Plays Metallica. Master of Puppets is haunting when played with all cellos.
They sorta jumped the shark though when they added a drummer.
