The funding period ended on April 19th of 2018. The description reads like it was written by a 6th grader. I like this line the best: the ability to maintain a balanced position and prevents you from flinging back while skiing on an uneven surface.

For me personally, flinging back has always been a huge problem

Looking at the comments, it looks like a bunch of people haven’t received their part of the revolution yet.

That's because the revolution was televised instead.

There will be no pictures of you and telepariah pushing that reckless toboggan full of weight-limited, freestyle approved Staki Skis down the Molly Hogan on the six o'clock news because the Revolution was already televised.

I boiled my thermometer, and sure enough, this spot, which purported to be two thousand feet higher than the locality of the hotel, turned out to be nine thousand feet LOWER. Thus the fact was clearly demonstrated that, ABOVE A CERTAIN POINT, THE HIGHER A POINT SEEMS TO BE, THE LOWER IT ACTUALLY IS. Our ascent itself was a great achievement, but this contribution to science was an inconceivably greater matter.

    Good lord.

A well known PNW ski character - an older woman who favors multiple hats and is famous for hitchhiking - most certainly invented those. If you're lucky enough to ride a lift with her you'll notice she's cut the tails from her skis and will be anxious to share with you why it's such a superior system.
