That's that East Longmeadow type $$ right there.

I am driving my FIL and his 3rd wife to the airport tomorrow so they can jump a Wheels Up plane to PA. He isn't worried about the storm as much as the boredom of being stuck in the house. How's that for #oldfuckyolo?

I always get confused which one is the big $$ area, Longmeadow or E. Longmeadow.. I grew up in a town in CT about 20 min. from there, and my town was just farms and tobacco fields up until the late 60's/early 70's.

B-bear- our girl A is famous. I got a random Facebook update on an article about the local brew pub/ tasting room fight she is involved in. Hope everyone is well.

Pretty safe from this one though. Just a really rainy labor day. I am kind looking forward to it. My trees need some shit shaken loose.
At this point, I have lived in FL longer than any other place I lived in my life. 21 years here. Gets you pretty used to being stalked by hurricanes. I find it very hard to get too excited early on, and I honestly love when the early predictions call for it hitting us, because they are never right.

They do that with big snow hype here in central NC.. Forecast is always sponsored by the local grocery stores who run out of everything the day before the storm misses us.

Here's where we'll be this Saturday. Dorain's supposed to blow through here Thursday. Going to be interesting to see if our beachfront hotel has electricity or the road to it is open at all..

It's not exactly a vacation. It's a friend's wedding and she is freaking out right now..

    I'm glad that
    A) We picked the big brick hotel building over the rustic one story wood hotel
    B) We opted for Saturday through Monday morning instead of Friday through Sunday morning.

I think they will be able to wedding Sunday as planned. They'll have a challenge getting the stuff set up and power may be an issue. I guess we'll know more Saturday. Moving the vows to Monday is probably an option if need be.

This was today. Vibes to the Bahamas, but that nasty storm pulled all the shit that way, and made for an amazing boating day here.
