These are nice, once you get hooked on a vest you're never go back to a pack unless you need the extra capacity.

Even if you don't need the RAS compatibility, the Poacher is nicer than the Heli.
The NF vest is a bit more minimalist, which is nice if you're not looking to carry a lot of stuff. The rear compartment is pretty big (and long) on the Poacher.

Update after getting out a few days with the Dakine vest. Holy shit this is likely the best soft good purchase I have made to date.
Favorite feature is the skin pockets - low enough down to not make you feel like a beluga whale skiing down.
