Not sure how I feel about the massive reliance on CG de-aging FX, though...

The sooner they release movies direct (or even just far sooner) to home viewing the better IMO

So, Scorsese is lamenting the lack of cinema these days, specifically in the multiplex.

Yet he signs a deal with NF, who did everything in their power to limit the release of his latest film?

    Color me confused.

As long as narrative films continue to be relegated to streaming services, the only films we will get on The Big Screen are the kinds of "event" blockbusters he is complaining about...

I'm too old (and used to be too young) to sit through something 3 hours at a theater.

While I can count on one hand the times in my life that I've seen a movie in a theater, given your location, I feel confident that you could easily pass the 3 hour mark under the right circumstances.

theatrical releases of quality films are down because the overseas market doesn't give a shit about them. that is independent of what deal gets signed.

First "negative" (or at least overly critical) review I've seen:

    https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertain...new-york.html/

Still planning to see it in the theater, though ( as long as I can find one relatively close to home!).
