I've picked up a well-used pair of these in the same length for a low-tide work ski (weekend volunteer). Fun ski, not a charger or "fat GS ski" at my weight (170), but not a noodle either. I'd call them super user-friendly and intuitive, you forget about them under your feet - which is really nice when carrying a snow fence or maneuvering a sled. Kind of a 30/70 backcountry/inbounds ski, and terrific on soft or Spring snow.

The 176 is on the short side for my weight, so someone lighter would find them to be "more ski" than me.

These might have appreciated in today’s economy. Just took a job instructing again and was thinking of these skis for exactly what 1000oaks wrote above. At the same weight as him, something for when you don’t want to have to drive a ski…. Maybe we could trade something I’ve got some gen2 pontoons 180 cm?

Yep, I'd say they're like a 2012-2014 Mantra in shape, but lighter and softer. Full camber, but doesn't need to be driven. Just balanced and easy.

Note the FX95HP is a completely different ski (kind of schizo - highly rockered tip but like a stiff edgy MX from the binding back), only the name is similar.

Price is too high. I picked up a pair in similar shape with Beast 14s for $375 4 years ago. I didn’t find them to be anything special so I sold them (with the bindings) for $300 after skiing on them 4X.

Agree. Price is too high. Just pulled the trigger on some retired 2018 demos from Powder 7 for less money with clamps.
