Got the Mountain Collective but still debating returning for a LL pass. Has anyone looked into or foresee any issues with the MC Pass (i.e. reservation/booking required?)?

Haven't heard any restrictions for any of the Canadian MC resorts at all, though it sounds like some of the American resorts might have mandatory booking. If you're thinking of heading down to the States this winter, just keep in mind that AHS/Health Canada has that mandatory two-week quarantine on returning to Canada, we ended up cancelling our trip down to the States this year due to that.

nothing forecast for any banff areas in terms of quote, reservation, etc.

FYI: Quick numbers on Mammoth vs Lake louise. (both bigish resorts)
    LL vs MM
    skiable acres 4000 vs 3500
    useable lifts 10 vs 25
skiers on BUSY long weekend 7,000 vs 25,000

skier per acer 1.75 at LL vs 7.15 at MM. that is 6 times the number of people per space. Might be a problem in 'Merica, but dont think its an issue (right now/yet) here

Finally raining this morning, winter like conditions forecasted for the High country. I have one more load of firewood to get and then the sled deck goes on.

Ok, mock us, but we did the lift thing last fall with my sister in law from the east. Her asthma made the lifts a blessing. Fun day tho.

No mocking from me, I would prefer the lift vs pedalling too.

Was on the b.c conditions group on Facebook. It was the shoulder on Ptarmigan cirque that gets cross loaded and reliably pulls out and takes a splitboarder for a ride every year.

That said, its time for a new thread people.

Mtnlion, that is unreal. Looks like a few sticks coming through, but to be able to do a few turns like that, fun!

Golf courses are done for season, time to put the clubs away and get the skis tuned up!
