    Someone got pow turns up on Roberston last week! Does that make it early turns or super late season turns?

    if its on old snow, its old turn.

    if on mostly new snow its new turn

    I have a general Canadian Rockies question, not a ski specific one, but this seems like as good a place as any to ask. What websites do you look at for weather forecasts/models for the Rockies? I'm doing a backpacking trip on the Berg Lake Trail in two weeks, and want to start keeping an eye on the weather.
    Doesn't mean that much to me, to mean that much to you.

    no, but banff swap is Oct 13ish (thanksgiving weekend)

    Less lineups, less new crap that is not discounted, etc

    calgary is usually a week+ after banff

    Calgary ski swap looks to be October 25-27 at the Max Bell Centre.

    it WILL all melt off before we ski, but fun to look at
