Everyone who is considering skiing at Rogers Pass this winter should visit http://pc.gc.ca/skirogers. This tells you why you need winter permits to ski most areas in Glacier National Park, why you can never ski some areas and how you can get a daily or annual winter permit to ski restricted areas which are open. N.B. the winter restricted areas have changed this year to consolidate them into 4 larger areas. The quiz for the annual winter permits is now online.

Rogers Pass is actually in the BC Interior, not in the Rockies, and most TGR forum reports on skiing there are posted in the 2019/2020 BC interior thread

Opening day exceeded expectations. Not saying it was good, but nice for this time of year, and good to be outside on skis again

Race training started this weekend at Pano. Biking is still fantastic in the valley too.

Day 2 was skiing. Day one was skiing, but in a cloud so wetter and softer than day 2. Good to be sliding around in November

You must be new. No need to take a shuttle if you know how to traverse. Plus around these parts, if we ski 80 percent of the hill before mid december it's considered a blessing.
Hope you got out and welcome to TGRrrr
