I agree there are mixed messages and its causing friction between people who are following the government "request" and people who are not. It needs to start with the Provincial government. Border is open or closed, pretty simple and Enforce it if it's closed.
Imo we need and should be open for business. There is nothing for a cure any time soon and we can't go any longer financially being closed. Health care should be prepared now if shit hits the fan.

Anybody been up to Parkers Ridge recently? I have a couple days of work up off Icefields Parkway next week and the current weather is making me think I should bring my skis for some roadside laps if there's easily accessible snow.

Its currently below freezing up there and stormy so I think I'll check it out and see if a mostly employed amatuer can finding a few worthwhile turns.

Best wishes.
May your tracks be admired by all who gaze upon them.Relatively low post count.

ended up working 11 hour days and not being able to go after it so my tracks were mud and grease and not worthy of admiration. Icefields are looking good and fat for June though with many folks going after silverhorn and skyladder.

I'm not sure if this covers Lake Louise yet. The website is just showing the 4 RCR owned resorts.
I'm still waiting on details for my Super Pass renewal.....

anybody working at shops, let me know if you have a decent link to a paddleboard. new/used don't matter as long as it's functional. prefer wider and shorter (for a woman).

but west bowl will open, so the terrain/use will change again. Just like when WH2 opened it changed laps, and what was used.

pass summery (as best I can tell)
adult family mid week senior
SSV $1100 $2200 $600 $100 (instalments avail too) (9 day payout)
LL $1000 $2000 $500 $20 (8 day payout)
skibig3 $1400 $3200 $1100 $1200 (65+) (12 day payout)
RCR pass $1370 $3200 $1100
passport $1800 $4300 $1500
Epic $1000US 7 days total at Fernie, nakiska, kimberly, kicking horse. and a BUNCH of US places then 50% off any extra days. (not worth it unless you are traveling to ‘merica)
mountain collective: $450 US 2 day at each: LL, SSV, reve, Pano, then 50% off extra days ($650 CND @ $120/day = day 6 is payout)
most of the pass prices are based on a renewal discount. Might be extendable to/from other passes? no idea.
most passes are on sale until mid sept
