As someone who spends a lot of time looking at the economics of pre-K systems...I'm just impressed they budgeted a cat skiing trip. We pay most such teachers utter shit.

only communicating through the kids is really toxic and I'm not sure a family court judge would be amused

there are aspects of your relationship with your ex that is adult only subject matter. so when she is communicating only through the kids parenting is not happening or your kids know shit they shouldn't

    don't put up with it

your friend probably got fired because they didn't like her and this was a way to take care of business. sorry to be a buzz kill but combine education and the stupid vapid shit that goes down in vermont and you get a toxic mess

I bet the principle had someone they wanted to hire... it's pretty hard to get a teaching gig in this state with the declining enrollment

    thanks for esplaining that

I was simply trying to tell the OP a funny story about someone skipping something to go skiing, not get into the details of my friend’s life. and like brevity yo
plus it kinda kills the punchline when I have to start talking about unionization and that she was part time and another was full time so she was going to get the boot next yr anyway yada yada

but since you guys are concerned- she finished out the school yr and she already has another job but I don’t believe she works bc she needs the dollars

Hope it works out for the OP to go skiing! it’s good for the morale

    It's like Killington that way.

I'd avoid the ECRC thread when it's in full swing. Unless you like soup.
