WTB: MacBook Air of recent-ish vintage and in good shape. Any specs considered

As the title says. Need one for some schooling and my '12 MacBook Pro is heavy, slow, and not trustworthy enough for this work.

Can trade some mighty nice ski gear or American currency.

Got all sorts of tech bindings, skis and boots, brand new 186 BMT 122. More than I can really list here. So, shoot if you got a question or an Air.

Guessing the one on the refurb site is a bit more than you wanted to spend? https://www.apple.com/shop/refurbished/mac

More or less, yes, more than I want to spend. If I end up needing to spend that much, so be it. But I'd much rather give my money (or skis) to a mag than to cyborg Steve Jobs and his army of slaves in suicide-proof sweatshops.

Those refurb prices are pretty steep. You only save $150-200 on a repaired laptop?
