I heard the same rumor, but I've yet to see a picture or a prototype. Maybe wasatchback has. Who knows if anyone around Montebelluna is actually back at work.

These sound really fun. The blackops 118 is a really good ski so hoping this feels similar but in a bigger size, they have the same poplar core.
I wonder what the mount point is, guessing -10cm?

    Titanal binding plate underfoot.

    194cm

    145-112-133

    4,7 kg/pair

“ Float, slash, or carve, send it on the Blackops Sender Squad. This is a limited-edition, full-gas freeride ski for pushing your limits. Athlete-driven design combines a wood core with race-developed layup and a wide 112mm underfoot platform for an energized ride that responds to hard-charging input for riding big lines and ripping at will. This beauty is handcrafted in our race room for limited-edition style.”

Hoping more RC112ish but doubt it with metal only underfoot. Construction sounds like Dynastar MFree 108.

Here’s some from skipass, 25m turn radius so more ski than the enforcer pro(21.5m). Not a full rc112 but might still be a cool ski.

Found another place that said full titanal length, Anyone know a rossi rep they can ask?

Here’s the construction for the sender ti (gosh these names are so dumb and confusing). I’m guessing the squad is the same, but with the carbon layup removed.

Enforcer pro with a longer turning radius, along with the 194 length sold me. These moved to the top of my find list. Might finally be a one ski quiver for me.

Edit: I can’t get a straight answer if the version I skied last winter is what made it to production. Apparently more then a few of the pre-production pairs broke? Maybe it’s rumors on rumors? Anyways, going to give the Rossignol Black Ops line a shot instead.

They will make you a pb&death if 101 underfoot is acceptable. Pbj with triple camber.

If I start feeling spendy, might do that. However my used and old AF PBJ are pretty great...

Picked up a scale and weighed some skis older and new:

    Took off 1260g for P18s

    192 Pro Riders 2664/2660
    191 Mantra 102 2324/2366
    191 Katana 108 2460/2449
    194 Sender Squad 112 2332/2428

Split about 38-39 days on the LPRs and Mantras last year until about March 12. Love them both dearly.

Sender Squad has a sweet camber profile.

I’ve been pretty good about lusting over skis this year but everything I see/hear/read about those Sender Squads makes me want a pair.

They're both stiff and feel similarly stiff...the Squads feel like they've got some snappiness to them, maybe ramping up more progressively from the shovels. Katanas feel like the Mantras.

other than some modest increase in tip taper for the new Katana, they and the M102 look like scaled up/down versions of same ski.

Picked up a pair of 191 M102s for next year and, bry would your thoughts on them here:

edit, nevermind just re-read the thread and sure as shit there you were on pg 2. my bad.

ADHD won again, ordered Sender Squads for next winter. I sort of really like the idea of the Sender TIs too. Seem like they should be an easier Cochise, more stable (well just longer) Rustler 10, more confident Mindbender 108 TI, maybe possibly what I’ve been looking for in a 100-110mm wide ski? If I can find a deal I’ll order a pair.

Fondled 184 M102 and Katana the other day, to my eye the Katana has a bit more tail splay and doesn't hand flex quite as roundly as the M102 (Katana has a softer section just ahead of where the tail rocker begins).

Both look like really fun skis, especially lusting after M102.

Is that a typo or is there really almost a 1/4 pound weight difference between the two skis? If that's accurate I really hope you got them through proform or as blems, that kind of weight difference is totally unacceptable for skis that are going to be sold into the retail market. That large a difference would be obvious in hand, no scale required.
