Is it just the pics or is the new Salomon boot really upright and the new Atomic nice and ramped forward? They both look nice, but I can't do that old school turned new school upright shit. I guess I'm middle school?
    No longer stuck.

Wonder what the weight on the new Hawx Prime XTD is. I love my XTD 130's with Tour Wrap's, but as a bigger dude that is skiing more resort than touring lately I wouldn't mind a 1700ish weight with more material. Digging the look of the Shift boot, haven't had a Salomon boot on my foot since the 90's though.

Any detail on the new Gotama?

You talking about all the new aliens that dropped last season?

And that Dalbello bonded shell tech seems interesting. I'd guess they're ultrasonically welding it.

(sorry I'm too lazy to screen cap)
As is the Scarpa F1 LT
    990g
    Very first glace:
-EXACT same clog/ lower as the Alien RS, so BOA waiting to blow up
-Same walk mode lever (but not the all in one action as the RS)
-Cuff is a "beefier" version of the RS (external skeleton reinforcement look)
-F1 strap and a wimpy looking "power strap"

That Avametrix AvyScanner Avalanche Predictor device though ... not sure what to think about that. Hopefully it's overly conservative and scares people out of the BC ...along with saving lives

Also again OR is giving out awards for "innovation" on stuff that's either been done before or is just a small step forward. Don't let anyone tell you that $ can't get you an ISPO or OR award.

Well, it's blue. So that's got to be better.

Not as good as red, obviously, but a pretty close second.

Dual-Core XT Free. Should have improved skiability but will likely be heavier due to not being full Grilamid.

I’d be ok with that. I blow through the “140” flex xt free frequently.

new toe dam design. Can I finally say goodbye to duck tape toes?

Alrighty guys, here's the details on the new Dynastar MLine:
MPro: directional, metal laminates, shape inspired by the Pro Rider 105 but with a touch of early rise. MPro 90, 99, and 105 (105 is the current Pro Rider with a new graphic, 192 only just like this year)
MFree: progressive, twin, shape inspired by the current Proto. MFree 108, 118
MTour: lightweight touring options using the MPro shape. MTour 99, 88.
They all use a new "hybrid core" which has been used in the Speed Zone skis, basically a PU milled composite with Poplar core. Very connected and smooth on snow feel.
Whole line was designed with the simple intention of choosing your model based on your ski style, and also how clean the Lange line has been (RS-technical/on trail, RX/LX-all mountain, XT: Tour) for shops to understand and sell.

I think the Alien has a vastly different fit that the current F1 (narrower), so this isn't the good news I wanted. I wanted same fit, 110 flex (currently listed at 95), and more upright stance. 100 gram savings would've been sufficient with those changes.

    Waiting for more info...

What lengths will the m-free and m-pro be available in?

No more legend lineup? Is this the final end of the "Cham" shaped skis?
