This is such great news. I dont really need an 18din binder but want all metal. Rossi making the Alltrack 130 in a 100 last was the exact boot I wanted this season and now the binding I want coming next season! Sweet As!

I’d be in on the rockerace binding if you could get brakes wider than 85

You can get after market wider ones that were originally for the PX Race/Axial 2 bindings:

    FC9F014 80mm
    FC9F015 95mm
    FC9F016 120mm

I've got the brakes in stock but I haven't got a Rockerace binding to try them on but I'm 99% certain they fit.

What's the adjustment range on the RockerRace heel? Assumed it's pretty short, but guess that's fine.

I was told they took a unique brake type and those would not work. It would be great if they would work

I couldn't get my Axial brakes to fit on SPX15 Rockerace's. I've not had a good enough play though, I think it might be possible with some surgery though.

Pretty stoked about these too, I've been helping Alex off and on with his journey for a few years now. Helping him build the prototypes for a few of these and doing his website for him and teaching him the dark art of E-Commerce.

I rode the 1st test versions of these from the factory last year and loved them. Its a wood veneer touring ski in a 175 and 184, its pretty dam nice, I rode them through spring corn, ice and boot deep spring powder. Light, damp and responsive and well made imo, the pair I rode Alex had ridden for a full season of testing in Austria and they still felt good.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

I know that they fitted the Rockerflex but I've just email the factory and asked about the Rockerace. Dunno when they get back to me due to the Christmas/New Year holidays etc.

Axial brakes are different than Axial Racing brakes (which have a cutout on the underside for the wormscrew setup).

    Ok apologies for thread drift.
What's difference between rockerrace and rockerflex?
Pulled brakes off some rockerflex and regular spx - housing, brakes arm and brake action all very different - I don't se how these can be interchanged

Rockerflex & regular SPX aren't interchangeable. I'm hoping that the Rockerace brakes are the same as the Rockerflex which are the same as the Axial Racing brakes.

    It's complicated! Bloody French!

the ones on the bottom are from the junior SPX/NX series the top from rockerace or rockerflex. Regular SPX uses a different interface again

edit as i read from the bottom to top, the info about codes for wider brakes that should fit the race bindings is correct assuming there is inventory

Not sure on what all lengths will be. I was on 184s.
Twin tip (or almost), softish tips/tails, decent firmness underfoot. Skied on a soft groomer day but would be a riot in powder I bet.

How about the "K5", or whatever version of the Katana they are up to? I think it's 5?

I'm also on-board with Rob, V-Werks katana is a super cool ski.
