NBA 2019/2020 Thread
Per Plug's suggestion, 2019/2020 starts now.
Mostly I just wanted to point out how incredibly freaking ridiculous it is that the damn Raptors are the NBA champs. I went through last year's thread again - very little mention of Toronto, and when there was, it was as possible ECF participants, not as Warriors killers.
And this year ought to be about 30 times harder to predict. So we should start talking about it ASAP. This is gonna be fun.Last edited by beece; 08-07-2019 at 07:34 AM.

The Cavs will still be fresh on the front end of their 40 years in the desert.
Hawks should be fun to watch.I still call it The Jake.

Oladipo is going to come back earlier and better than expected. He'll mesh well with Brogdon immediately. Turner will continue to improve his offensive game and figure out how to play alongside Sabonis at the 4. Pacers finish second in the East (slow start until Oladipo comes back) and then win the Finals.
It sucks to suck.

You mean the one with pickup game level defense and him still exhibiting horrible form? In that case 0 for 10.

Interesting to see if the Celtics kids can step it up after last years dumpster fire. Irving for Walker I count as a positive, losing Horford to the Sixers really hurts though. Range of outcomes is large.

Pacers at Suns 1/22. Good news is Oladipo should be back. Bad news is my old high school buddy I was planning to go with will already be deployed by then.
Holy shit those Dubs at Jazz tickets are pricey.
Also, the Zion hype has fully reached the NBA. Christmas Day and Opening Night games, and a total of 30 nationally televised games for a team that likely will be a 6-10 seed or worse. I get why they do it, but that doesn't mean I like it.It sucks to suck.

Yep, that’s Elastic Dynamic Dynastic (and Dynasty Hangover) Pricing and is still 33% cheaper than Chase Center in SF.

Probably a good time for Boogie to get arrested, since he is going to be out all season anyway.
