    Whistler Bike Park

Anyone who has ridden the bike park would understand how crazy this is:

Living nearby I rode WBP a lot in early 2000s. Every so often you'd break a rear D or chain or have a front or rear brake go out. If it was close to the end of the day or if you couldn't fix it you'd have to roll with it for a few laps to keep riding. Sometimes we'd try no pedal/no brake runs on A-line or DM for fun. And yeah, no brakes was scary. At least with one brake you could still check your speed a bit.

I assumed he was dragging his foot on the inside... but yeah, you could be right.

Not sure I would have been pulling mine off but I don't recall touching the brakes much on that trail. The bike park is in such good shape this year with all the rain they've been getting, no brake bumps and things are so smooth.

Not braking the big hip is ballsy and more skill than I've got. Certainly appreciate the big case pads Nickel and the WBP crew put into everything for hacks like me
