Naw, Cindy never quite fit the time line/logistics.
Speaking of which, was congresswoman Neuman any where near Raynor when the head popping first appeared??
And why so many from both "sides" (almost seemed random) at the congressional hearing? Sloppy application or really sly?

I'm not so sure she is "unknown" to Vaught. She could easily be playing the roll of "politician that provides resistance to the big mean company". There has to be someone that disagrees with what is happening. Otherwise it looks too easy.
So I'm leaning toward "sly". Hit both sides of the for/anti-supe during that hearing to make it really look like a random act of supe terror. That was the tipping point to get Vaught the contracts to supply the serum for the supe war.
The earlier head popping of Raynor was just an to keep Vaught out of court.

I think it was sly, to make it look like a random attack. Now I want to go back to count exactly who was taken out. Maybe she’s actually popping heads on Edgar’s behalf. I’m sure Cindy will be coming back. I think her introduction was half misdirection and half foreshadowing for season three

They could have a head pop-off ...off. Kind of like a "ski-off", but bloodier.

FWIW, in the comics the character is Victor Neuman (they did a gender swap for the show) and he is the Vice President of the United States and a Vought puppet.
My guess is that Victoria Neuman in the show works for Vought. Why else would she have killed The Collective leader?
Either that or she is rogue and purely out for her own political interests...

That makes the most sense; Giancarlo Esposito's too big an actor not to be the power behind all the secret, slimy shit.
On a related note: Rotten Tomatoes is broken; doesn't even list Giancarlo's role in The Boys.

In regards to Cindy, her character did not exist in the comics, so she is an original super created specifically for the show.
My theory is that she will team up with The Boys. Remember, she had the opportunity to kill them at the clinic and she didn't.
I could see her going head-to-head with Homelander or Black Noir (provided he's still alive after the Almond Joy incident).
Then again she could just end up being a rogue psychotic...

I think it was implied black noir is dead? At the end?
Knowing the show I'll go with random psychotic

"The Boys" on Amazon Prime Video

Show kinda sucks to be honest. By the end of season 2, I just wanted Homelander to fuck everyone up. Don’t give a fuck if they come back with another season.

Never understand people who come into threads just to shit on them..
Same people that post "Skiing is so much better out west, its why I moved" in the Ski the East thread or " baseball is so fucking boring" in the MLB thread

I mean if you had some detailed concerns, some things you didnt like, or a discussion of why staying true to the Comcs may have been a better path, great bring it. but " Show kinda sucks? " save it.

Buttahflake is like the black smoke in lost (never watched it past season 1 or 2 so i don't really know?). It feeds on hate, you don't know it's purpose in the show and in the end it just vanishes and leaves you mildy confused.

I have no idea what any of that means — too much too quick to follow, like the wkrp song contest, except the first caller didn’t win
