wtb front side ski 95-115mm, 185-190ish, cheap

Wondering what's out there on the cheap side of things. Looking for camber, as the closest thing I have to a frontside ski is a meridian. Don't really care about number of mounts. I'm in Tahoe

Would love an old tahoe or pbj, something like that. older nordica enforcer kinda thing? Beggars can't be choosers though.

I'd say I want something that trucks on groomers and is playful / poppy when jibbing, but honestly I'm probably only gonna ski it when everything is frozen. Looking for something damp and fast, not much taper

    who's holding?

There are some 184 Mantras on Craigslist in the Tahoe area, the good cambered metal ones from 2012.

Hmmm, they were posted for months but it looks like they're gone.

These are the same with different graphics: https://humboldt.craigslist.org/spo/...921614986.html

thanks, oaks. unfortunately, that's like 6 hours from me in washoe valley...

and that's intriguing, mtn lion - don't know anything about the nrgy series but gotta think in a 193 that would make a stable groomer zoomer. should i know anything else other than 30m radius and two layers of titanal?

Hmm. I have a 185 Parlor Cardinal 100 with full camber, stiff layup (the tail is full on ridiculously stiff), maple/ash. 2 mounts. Not what I’d call playful, but super fun. I honestly don’t have the room to ski them back east, they would make the perfect WC frontside ski imo. Gorgeous

It's fast and stable, but not the slightest bit jibby: find yourself a set of 195 Super Bros (aka Hart Fuelie Boss - same ski, different topsheet). Mount at +2 from the mark. Hold on.

Maybe someone here has some they don't want anymore.

I've paid extra to have guys on Craigslist ship stuff. If you have a few phone conversations and feel each other out, the deals can be smooth.

I’ve got 187 bonafides with two mounts. Bases have lots of scratches, as it’s Montana, but I’d ship them to you for the price of shipping + a six pack

Wouldn't put the Bonafide in the "frontside carver" category, if you're hoping for pop off the tail at the end of turns you're going to be disappointed. Great rough snow ski, but not a "fat GS ski" like some 99mm waist all-mtn skis.

I'm currently skiing fully rockered moments on ice. Hard to be disappointed in well respected skis for $50... I still want something to throw around in steeps or trees in shit ass conditions, too, so the bones seem like a good move. Plus it's tahoe - I ski 50% or more bc, so these will see what, like 5 days next year?

Still waiting to see joe’s base damage. Frenchy is local though mustonen so you’d have to beat it shipped...

    I was mostly kidding.

I’d let mine go for $200 shipped. They’ve had a couple mounts.

    Have some 190 Rossi Experience 100... these - https://www.evo.com/outlet/skis/ross...experience-100

Will have to check mount. Bought used and stayed on my Bonafide and Vicik. Bases are money. Sidewalls are chipped up and could use some epoxy. Will let go cheap - in SLC.
