I doubt she is consciously trying to disappoint her father. In her mind she she may even think she is pleasing him. No doubt she was abused as a child, developed low self esteem and feels all she's good for is being treated as an object which is what her father (or whoever abused her) taught her as a young child (reinforced by all the great woman's magazine's out there and the Kardashians).
