It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

I call bullshit on the 12 tons. Thats 24,000 lbs of trash. I want to see more documentation of the process. I am not holding my breath. Did they pay tipping fees at the city landfill? Maybe we can track the truckloads there.

Also, of course this was a political stunt. That said, less trash is good for Baltimore...so it's a win-lose in my book.

    Tell me about Baltimore

Skiing in the NE can be really really good, but the odds are much better out West. I’m with ice, no amount of air travel bullshit comes close to the pain of driving North.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Thank you for your service, but agree to disagree I guess. They pickup up enough to load quite a few big trucks with trash.

I am thinking it was just a photo op for them.

Some days I feel like the commercial with Indian with the tear running down his face when you see how much shit people leave behind when they come to recreate in the mountains. The amount of garbage that melts out of the snow is amazing, people should be caned for leaving bags of dog shit, garbage in the river that I fish, plus I don’t think I have ever found anything cool

The only shit I ever leave behind is cool shit I lost and can't find, so don't give up hope.

I hear you. Here in Balmer, I have seen on quite a few occasions an asshole throw a full bag of fast food trash out of their car window. I have gotten into the habit of asking the litterer, "Excuse me, you dropped something" and then stand there until they inevitably pick it up.

But living in the city is the most environmental thing I can do at this point. Suburbans drive everywhere and long distances to pick up a gallon of fucking milk.

Fixed it for you... That, or it's just got 2 be Trader Joe's milk or some other over hyped over priced grocery retailer..

Shit, they'll drive a few miles to save five cents on gas. Do the math on that.

Wish I had known about the opening, I dig that museum a lot, it's very cool in there.

I was just in Baltimore this morning, I somehow got roped into doing the Greater Baltimore Kidney Walk (thanks honey!). I'm not sure what driving an hour and then walking 3 miles and then driving an hour back did for peoples' kidneys but I sure hope it helped!

Nice morning in Charm City though, overcast and a bit cool, it was a pleasant stroll with ~5000 or so companions.

It's a cool scene on 34th Street every year, I guess that's where your pics are from?

    Yup, 34th St..

Found out last night that Xmas Eve is a great time to go. No crowds. And there was a restaraunt open in Hampden, too.
