    Crazy.

Aspen called in the the National Guard because some black people were coming to ski in the 70’s.

That's a crazy story about Aspen... Awesome video showing a perspective that I haven't seen before. Very cool to see anyone getting out in the mountains who might not get the opportunity to otherwise.

Great perspective — gives more insight on ski clubs. Are they more of an easy coast thing?

A few clubs from Cali would ski at Sugar Bowl in the early 90’s when I worked there. One guy I talked to said there was a few clubs scattered around the LA and Bay Area.

I remember them coming to Alpine mid90s-ish when I was a liftie there. Tons of fun

Really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing.

Been skiing for over 30 years. I've skied clear across Canada. Currently ski mostly in Northern B.C. with a yearly foray to the Canadian Rockies (Banff, Golden etc.). and I don't ever recall seeing a black person skiing. Strange

Yeah. They were definitely having the most fun on the mountain. I drank in the bar with a few of them afterwards, that was very entertaining.

People having fun skiing. What an interesting concept. They really are an awesome group of people. It is always a good time when the NBS is in town.

Crossed paths with them in Utah back in the early ninties. They were staying in Park City, but fanned out to the two canyons during the week. There were some hawt women.

Whistler has hosted this club many-many times over the years. Always a good vibe and a good time! Surprised this is really the 1st media we are hearing about this. They’ve been around for awhile. Perhaps they are taking this ski week to Europe these days. If anyone knows please chime in.

No kidding. The NBS have come to Big Sky several times. They are always having a great time, lots of smiles on their faces. And the women Benny referred to, I walked into Scissorbills, and instead of bored white ski bums starring at their beer while listening to a folk guitarist, the Brotherhood had 70's Disco thumping and two black MILFs were standing on tables twerking up a storm. Seriously good times.
