Went and saw Jay & Silent Bob Reboot tonight.
Still formulating my take on it, but the short version is this: it's Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back-meets-Jersey Girl.
Tons of dick and clit jokes interspersed with saccharine dad/daughter stuff, so basically it will appeal to the inner weed smoking, dick/fart joke loving 40+ something who has kids and gets all sentimental about being a dad.
That said, I laughed a lot, but also groaned a few times.
K. Smith references every one of his films and while I got quite a lot of the inside jokes, I also missed just as many, so you might wanna dig back in the archives and re-watch Clerks, Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Dogma, Clerks 2, Jersey Girl, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Cop Out, and Tusk. Not sure if he referenced Red State or Yoga Hosers, though...

Snootch to the Booch: The Return of Jay and Silent Bob [nsfw]
There was a really good interview last week on Sway in the Morning with Kevin Smith. Guy is hilarious, but also went into a lot of detail on his heart attack and on Jays addictions and how he helped him get sober. Really cool guy. I’m sure it’s on Sirius on demand for all you Kevin Smith fans.
I’ll watch the movie when it gets to amazon prime or whatever. That is all.
Edit to add, because it was stuck in my head after reading through this thread - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W-xKUU5sWS4
