Revelstoke Nightlife?
Planning to be in Revelstoke mid to late Feb. Other than the skiing would like to partake in the nightlife. I realize its not much. However ...
Question is how close to downtown should I stay. I believe the shuttles are only once every hour late in the night. Are cabs reliable at all. Is there Uber?
I am guessing the sidewalks will be crusted with snow and ice.
Thx
Marty

You will have fun. Downtown is a bit away from the hill, and most of the cabin accoms are out near the base.

Wave your Ikon pass and lanyard to flag down locals for a ride.

Once you got said ride ask locals to take you to Stokers for a pint!! You won’t be disappointed!

I wouldnt be driving from the bar. When the sun goes down we roll up the sidewalk. Thats a cue for the popo to pull over every car that moves. There is a new cab co though. No uber

That new hostel is halfway between town and the hill. Bit of a walk from downtown but not unreasonable depending on how many pops you had. Old church, plsce is sweet. Good price and private room option.

Revelstoke night life???
There is a brewery just east of town, but you need a car and Im not sure of the business hours There are a couple highbrow bars and a few low key bars. Follow the people.“How does it feel to be the greatest guitarist in the world? I don’t know, go ask Rory Gallagher”. — Jimi Hendrix

They screwed up when they remodeled the place. It was much better, in my opinion, in the old days when it was more of a regular type bar with a stage and a Harley on it. Once they remodeled, it lost its appeal and drove them down. We had some good times there 15 or so years ago.

Village Idiot breadsticks came in a tower. I blacked out after eating them all but I remember cute bunnies with dogs at monashee distillery. I got to pet the dogs but not the bunnies because marriage.

Often an old chrysler mini van
I always thot the Hooterville taxis service in Vanderhoof had a cool name
If some one sez they will just get an uber from the airport you know they aren't from BC, yeah apparently we can Uber this sept but the regs are going to require a class 4 license to drive an Uber which could put a dampener on things,
I wonder if there is enough business for uber in the small town or will it sink the cab companies and then we have to depend on Uber as they all sink themselves, but you never know ?
I didnt teke them often but it kinda sucked that greyhound buses are no moreLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know
