I don't think there is ANY connection. Just billyk insinuating that Jeri Ryan may not be the same since it's been 20 years or something. Which as I've pointed out, is completely insane. Like a fine wine, she's aged quite nicely. And if you watch recent interviews or videos of her hanging out with friends, she also seems to have an immensely lovely personality too. No joke. She's nerdy. She's funny. Gorgeous. Dang near the perfect package. I will sign up for CBS All Access just watch this show if she's a main character in it. Aside from her being insanely hot, I really did like her acting in Voyager. The character development and how she had to adapt to it was top notch.

When is the Picard show scheduled to air, Dookey?

As for her NG or Voyager character development, I really failed to notice.
Though I'm sure that's why they cast her in the series.

Not being a Brekkie, I had to Google that. Webz is saying "early 2020"

Also how good is this series really gonna be without Wesley?

Lol. Since Wil Wheaton's good friends with a lot of the old cast members I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility. It would be great if we could just get one last "Shut up, Wesley!" from Picard. For old time's sake.

No sign of Riker or Troy either.

There is no doubt that I would explore her universe if the opportunity arose. Launch my photon torpedoes all over her belly.

I'm liking how this is shaping up! Sounds like the old cast and crew are really putting their hearts/souls into it and doing it right. I'm optimistic:

Kes was annoying as fuck. Glad they killed her off; should have happened much sooner.

Should have been a Neelix-Kes murder suicide, with a big party afterward.

I liked Neelix,...once Kes was gone.

Also a big fan of Dr. Flox.

    And the EMH.

    Blasphemy, I know.

Flox and EMH were fine, or at least had their moments. Neelix was the worst Star Trek character ever.

Totally. Basically the Jar Jar Binks of the Star Trek universe. The show became so much better after they gave his character a backseat.

I am guessing that HellgateBasement is in "The Industry" (or has friends in "The Industry") as the show doesn't premiere until January 23...

From a Newsweek story that ran on Newsweek.com yesterday: "On Monday, the cast and crew of Star Trek: Picard assembled in Hollywood for a premiere screening of the streaming series' first three episodes..."

Dude I used to work with at IGN.com just joined the writer's room for Picard, fwiw...https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4808201/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

I can confirm that Jeri Ryan was looking good on screen and in person.

It will be on CBS All Access.

    SHUT UP WESLEY!

If it wasn't for Picard putting Wesley in his place, Wesley would give Neelix a run for his money.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.
