Maverik HALO jumps into Iran to steal the last F-14, hence the space suit. He's the only pilot left in the Navy that can still fly one well enough to avoid radar. The scenes with the F-18 in the mountains and desert is him practicing the maneuvers he will need to carry out when escaping Iran. The only question is will Maverik get into a flat spin in the F-14.
I'd be super convenient if we were at war with Iran when this movie comes out.

Tony Scott started in commercials, too.
Tony was a cool dude. I did some work in his home in L.A. To this day, one of the most beautiful homes I've ever been in. He was just like some british dude you'd strike a conversation up with in the King's Head in Santa Monica. Very unpretentious for a director. RIP..

I couldn't tell what (if any) scenes were just remakes of the old one or flashbacks to the original movie. And I'm ok with that.
New trailer set to Danger Zone is 10000000000% better.

Sister dated one of the guys in his circle when he was at Glen Ridge HS. Bobby Star - a guy that was willing to crash and burn at a moments' notice.
Few knew that Tom was dyslexic. If memory serves, his crew beat the piss out of a special needs child after school on the way to the bus. He got out from under the problem by quitting school and moved to Greenwich (village) to wait tables and audition. There was trouble at home too. He didn't get along with his (divorced) mother's boyfriend.

F14 still flies in a few active militaries around the world. Iranian Air Force being the biggest one. PMC supply line for parts is still lucrative.I am not in your hurry

Get out there and do stuff!
Enjoy life to the fullest!!

You also need to cross your arms and slide them from upper right to lower left whenever you quote it. That is an essential part of the experience.
Apparently it’s I not we.
