    I still find it curious that they never improved their 11 speed cassette offerings. Unless the world thinks 11 speed is dead.
    If you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it tubeless, I will. I got spare time.

    They did have an XTR 9100 11 speed 10-45 micro spline cassette in the works, but they canceled it. It had 12 speed spacing and worked with the new 9100 12 speed shifter and derailleur and chain.
    Not sure what the purpose of this product was, it never really made sense to me.

    yeah, I've got 3 year old xt 11spd on my hardtail and aside from the cassette being pretty average weight wise, as a package it's performed exceptionally, just a new chain once a year.

    But they have them for 11 and 12sp now. It took a while, for sure, but that would suggest a move in the right direction?

    I run Shimano shifter and rear mech, but prefer SRAM cassettes (last much longer).
