The photo is definitely real. It looks like it's not from this year, but it's definitely real. How the person in that article could say it's 'fake' is beyond me. Fake timing, yes. Fake overall? No.

Based on the snow and the leaves, this shot looks to be taken about 1-2 weeks ago. Haven't been up there this year during the 'Rona, but the leaf peepers are up there in goddamn hordes.
