    Maggot down

Last week mtnbikerskierchick was involved in a freak accident. Her and her husband Goldenboy are still in Denver as she is 3 surgeries in with 1 to go. A broken neck, broken femur in 2 spots, leaves them both away from home (CB) for an unknown amount of time. Any help this community can provide is appreciated. Frank and Brittany are as solid as they come.

Strangers all over the world are visualizing positive vibes and thinking about what we can do to help.

I'm imagining healing and long-term gains of strength and wisdom. I'm imagining storytelling and lifelong friendships solidified.

Damn, bad news. There's a ton of love focused your way, be receptive, keep calm, you've got friends who are here for both of you.

Brittany and Frank are the baddest-ass of badasses. Thanks for posting this up, montanaskier. I've no doubt Brittany will come back stronger than ever but I also know that any change for a nickel y'all can send their way will be massively appreciated.

Really hoping for the best on this. Really, really hoping. Not sure if I've ever actually met/skied with either of them, but unbelievably awful news that I hope, in time, turns out to be OK.

Good luck, and I think it goes without saying that there are plenty of people around here willing to help (if possible).

They bring the stoke, all the time. Helping them out is an easy decision.

Frank and Brittany are two of the most accomplished ski mountaineers in the state of Colorado, but they are also some of the nicest people I have ever met. Their dedication to the ski/mountain bike/snowmobile communities with respect to sharing information in the form of online and print guidebooks, education and advocacy for our sport(s) is unmatched and extremely valuable to all of us. They have given more to our community than any of us could ever repay. Please consider helping this incredible couple in their time of need.

This is brutal. Facebook photo shows her on her feet. She is, and will always be, a badass.

Keep this thread up and help these two out.

I'm not sure what they've posted publicly (ie not protected by FB/IG privacy settings), and don't want to post the whole story if they haven't made it public.
However if her Instagram account is public (I have no idea since I already follow her), the story is here: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bzsf63YlonF/

Holy crap, talk about the last thing you'd think would take you out. Reading her post on IG is pretty horrifying. Get well soon, so much stoke is still out there
