I think I've told this story before but it's so good think I'll tell it again.

My GF came home a bit tipsy one night and on her way in the house saw one of her many barn cats. Being drunk she felt like a kitty hug so she reached on down and grabbed the cat only it wasn't a cat, it was a skunk. She got full on sprayed at point blank range but she was so tired and inebriated that she just went on in the house, peeled off her clothes laying them on the kitchen chair over her husband's leather sheriff's jacket and trundled off to bed. Needless to say when her husband got home after patrol the house reeked and the jacket was ruined and he was not amused.

Hahaha. Wow. There’s drunk and then there’s “don’t sober up after getting sprayed by a skunk drunk.”

Just another reason to never go to Alabama. You'd need a cold war era amount of nukes for that shit.

How could any responsible property owner allow pests to go unmitigated for long enough to end up with a car sized wasp nest? I get that maybe way out in the woods or field that might happen, but right against your house? I feel no pity for them.

    Underground Bee Hive

I use my shop vac (w- long extensions) to get the YJ’s around my house. They like crawling in the grass (moisture, mud?) and it feels good when they bounce off the hose walls. Thwack.

    Godspeed.

I haven’t seen a single one since the second can of spray was unleashed into their misery pit.

For the record my winning formula was:
    - 1 extra large can of wasp spray
    - 1 flooded yard
    - 1 additional extra large can of wasp spray
I still call it The Jake.

Oh there was gin involved with can #2.

The Aerosmith is close at hand for when they inevitably make their comeback attempt.

It was all a bit anticlimactic.

-Sprayed the can in the hole until foam came out the top.

-Did it once more for good measure about 45 minutes later.

    Nothing since.

Outside of violating the Geneva Protocol, it appears to have been a rousing success.

Delta Dust seems to be a good way to go. This guy stirred them up but if you just walk up and give it a couple puffs you should be golden.
