I give big yearly donations to my prep school so I can see my name on all the alumi materials does that count?

For real. However, you would THINK that in a small town, with a 'friend' you've known for years, that a handshake and their word would be good enough. Well, I suppose they would've been had Baron von Douchebag not intervened. Lessons learned. Sigh...

Although Uncle Al collaborated with many other musicians, I don't think he ever did anything with the Beat Farmers. Though a Ministry/ PTP/ Acid Horse/ Pailhead/ Revolting Cocks/ 1000 Homo DJs/ Beat Farmers remix would not be the weirdest thing he's ever done.

I came here to post that too

but also maybe your current town is not the small town for you. maybe try some more places since you don't have ties.
I just saw a new carwash going in in Jackson if this is the op folks were alluding to
I kind of like living in a little giant community. small town feel but enough to keep you going in the long run.

also mountain town living is a bit more challenging when it's just one of ya
living gets a lot easier when it's 2 of you splitting the expenses (or I'm sure many of you will chime in as to how we make life soo much more expensive) but really it does help a ton

There is so much building going on here that I hear it's super hard to find contractors and construction workers for anything.

Instead of throwing in the towel, perhaps snap some bare asses in the gym shower with it. I've always felt this builds camaraderie among dudes that charity functions and social events couldn't.

You want a long but not too thick towel, damp but not wet. It's all in the wrist.

Does retirement count as throwing in the towel?
