From Weissfluh to Langwies, then train up to Arosa, lifts to Lenzerheide, ski down to Parpan.

That looks like it or very close. Thought it had more skiers in the pattern. Would they be on scale with the pricey Engadin hotel?
Or priced for the everyday ski bum

    Not this guy.

Maybe pick the dates there Buster for this March? Give people a chance to hunt for tickets and what not.

Yeah I thought it had more skiers skiing. But that could be it.

    I'll check if I have a picture

I blew it on the cheap tickets for March 3-18 and am watching for a decent fare. I'm ok with March 15-30 too and am one of those democratic assholes who's willing to put up a vote.

Is anybody's interval driven by anything other than cheap fares?

I had an awesome time with wp_hedonism around Klosters, so I'd like to go there for a couple of days, then lurk at the official maggot CH https://www.mt-lodge.com/ for 5 days or so before blitzing to LG for another 4 days.

Offhand, I'll look for March 3-18 unless there's folks that want otherwise. You guys should meet subtle plague too, ripping skier, local, big, no nonsense heart, knows where to go for the sweet powchase.

I'm propably of the ealier-in-March opinion.

Probably only sneak in a 10-dayish trip this year.

Early March definitely has more a winter feel, later on is better for touring.... I would also go for the early March choice. Well business wise I should cheer for late March... but than again: I’ve never been a good businessman 🤷🏻♂️

Whatever works. I can do early March. I was totally fine with the conditions last year, pow, sun, pow n corn. I’m also of the 10 day variety.

    Let's shoot for March 10-20.

Somebody fire a flare o'er LWS's bow and make sure that works for him.
Hopefully mofro will see this as well as other Alpentalistas.

Couple of ways to go. One requires no skinning actually, from top of Weissfluhgpifel down towards Arosa, but then a short 10 min train ride. You can also skin up and down from Davos.

Once in Arosa, it is connected to Lenzerheide. You’d need to get a lift pass there. From Lenzerheide, can bus back to Davos (~45 min or an hour).

I did it once this past season. It was fun. Amazing how much ground you cover, as well as how close the two ski areas actually are to each other.

I think I'm going to bee line for Klosters & the Wynegg again for the first 3 nights. Let's do some more turns, this tour sounds cool from Weissfluh.

I'd love to do the Diavolezza Morteratsch tour if possible. That would check off the last of the St. Moritz tours I've been eyeballing for years.

If we do want to do the Fruttstock (couloir E. of where we skied the Oberalpstock), we should commit to getting a guide.

Following. Should be able to make those dates work, but sort of debating Yurp vs. taking my Dad(75)and kids heliskiing. My old man took me on multiple heli ski trips when I was in my twenties, and I want to repay him while he's still mobile enough to go. The right thing would be to ignore budgets and do both.

Also, I've been meaning to chime in at some point about the wonders of Blood Flow Restriction Therapy. Per my surgeon and PT, I'm several months ahead in the rehab on that pesky ACL reconstruction, definitely the BFR has me feeling pumped.
Move upside and let the man go through...

What’s the point of a guide? You’re not gonna listen anyway when he tells us we can’t make the summit.

    He didn't tell me!

Admittedly, my Italian is a bit dusty.

But really, if we make plans to get Danny or one of his guides, things will go smoother. But he's running a business and can't be expected to drop everything for some old ski freak he met a few years ago.

Nashville is a well known gateway city for epic ski trips.

It's a long way out, but March 10-20 works pretty well for us I think. There is a slight chance I may have some other takers from around these parts who want to attend coverfest in Davos at the end of the month, in which case I might slide things a bit later.
