Took the kids “camping” at my friend’s farm in Ellensburg last weekend and a ton of folks pitched tents out by the river. Spread a good friend’s ashes around, had a bunch of libations.

Got out for a night last weekend with the better half and pups. Lots of camping planned in the next few months for me.

Hit the fish hatchery for sure. Best part of the trip for my kids, besides the s'mores of course. Chalk Creek is running ridiculously high so the fishing is not particularly good right now but chalk lake is stocked regularly and is worth a shot as is the creek if the water recedes a bit by then. Def do the falls hike. Big bang for the buck on than one as it's accessible, shady, short, and well maintained. Be sure to go down and cross the creek in order to hike right up to the bottom of the falls. St Elmo is totally worth the drive also, though there's little to do once you get there but have a look around.

We love it down there. Usually pull lots of fish out of the creek.

Is agnes veil open again? It was closed after a rockslide killed a family. That flank of my Princeton is falling appart.
