Summer Camping Stoke. Post pics here.
Short hike in but got to stay two nights.
Actually got some small brookies out of the creek.
Walter the walrus my buddys dog watching their stuff.
I’d expected more people for the Fourth, the TH was packed by Sunday whe we left though.

Ive been having fun doing FSR dispersed camping at close stuff this summer; these are over a few trips since late May:
(That view is quite literally at the back of the campsite like 100’ from the car)
Walrus will also protect the coffee.

If we're gonna wear uniforms, we should all wear somethin' different!

You name your weed plants? Sucks they left their pooch, but she looks like a sweety! You should keep her.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

We just got back from a weekend with two other families on Lac Poisson Blanc, a lake an hour and fifteen minutes north of Ottawa with basically zero cottages on the south end.
I boated about 70 miles in three days as I ran the taxi service for everyone. Was it ever worth it.

Headed out for a few days with boats to islands with wife. Little bit of everything today out on the water, which is what makes Maine interesting.

Ahh, roger that. Cool. I’m prolly more likely to see a prairie schooner out here.

Maine’s outer islands provide peace,
quiet, and perspective.

Hit my usual car camping spot again.
Little bud, some Makers Mark, and Pink Floyd The Wall from start to finish….so nice.
My buddy is into gadgets and gear. Bought this on demand hot water system that came with a sink and shower. Total overkill but got to admit having hot water at the flick of a switch was nice.
