Foggy gets it.
This thread is great fun for trolling boomers though.
I’d also like to point out that almost every single athletic record that the boomers set has been crushed by the millenials. Even your best would be lucky to make it to the field. Go watch some 1970s hockey then watch today’s. The 1972 Dolphins probably couldn’t win the College National Title let alone compete in the NFL. And boomers somehow want to say they are tougher, better, smarter etc than today’s youth... I personally do excuse some of the stupidity of the boomers, after all you all grew up with low grade lead poisoning which dropped your IQs.

i’m not trying to come down on any generation, just always found it interesting that lead may have slightly stunted growth and brain function in a whole gen. my dad did a paper on that years ago so I heard about it as a child when I didnt even know what a boomer (or boomer ) was

Graduated in 85 as an OG Xer, latchkey kid, and punk. As for not having to worry about anything, we did come of age when The Aids was starting. Destroyed all that boomer free love hippy shit for us.

Boomers like to hassle frontline service workers. “I’d like speak to the manager”. Right Benny?

Xers have a similar trait but its not nearly as defined. Millennials can't even form basic connections to other humans, so pretending they have empathy is a misuse of the word. They have public shaming and a very strange adherence to the authority of pop culture. I'm not sure Gen X had that.
Shrug...Every generation has its strengths and weaknesses. I'm sure we'll find some strengths the millennials (as a group) have in the next few decades.

Straw man. I've never heard anyone--boomer or otherwise--claim that boomers were tougher, better, smarter, etc than today's youth. Now pre-boomers maybe, I give you Babe Ruth, or Roger Maris if you prefer (PED records don't count) and Albert Einstein. And since you're talking about trolling--boomers definitely didn't invent that, and if there's one clear sign of stupidity trolling would be it.

It's the waitresses' fault--they like to call us old guys "honey" and "sweetie". Since we only go to a few restaurants over and over they call us by our names. What's an old guy to do?
When we're out walking we have to be careful to avert our eyes when crossing paths with young women, so they don't think we're old perverts. One of my neighbors is pissed at me because we passed each other when she was out running. I had averted my eyes before I was close enough to see who it was and she thought I was shunning her.

I'll second that. About the only band my parents liked that I liked. They and the rest of the surf bands influenced skate punk as well.
