    i have no issue with nudity in general. it's just not my preferred state outdoors. hiking naked does not sound pleasant bugs or no bugs. i did yoga naked once in the yellowstone backcountry and then wondered why i did that.

    Is it even legal to hike naked? Especially on federal land, I figure there might be some laws around this

    Considering we hiked naked for our first couple million years I don't see an issue with it. It's nice to get back to one's roots on occasion.

    I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...    iscariot

    careful with that. Hiked the Na Pali coast to the Kalalau Valley way back in the day. A lot of people there were naked, but only the first day.

    This is something new I would try (or not?). Nudist beaches - done! Naked bike ride - done!
    On a practical side: how comfy is it to hike naked? I mean, carrying a backpack and having no shorts/trousers to protect you thighs and genitals..?

    I guess in two weeks, on June 21, is the right day to try this out!

    I really like hiking/backpacking in a kilt sans undergarments. I have dealt with swamp crouch, and this seems to help me. To each their own...

    Took a risk to hike naked in pretty remote area which is justifable risk. It was a great exprience tbh, it was very freeing!
