    Paris Hot

I’ll be in Paris next week and it looks like 100+ for a few days. Is this going to be Houston in August heat (very humid), or just your average “Man it’s hot” kinda heat?

    But it's not particularly humid.

In Paris, it's good to smell like you have been fucking. It makes them respect you.

Continental Europe braced for 'potentially dangerous' heatwave

In France, temperatures of between 35C and 40C were expected across most of the country except Brittany from Monday, Météo-France said, and were unlikely to fall below 20C overnight.

“Even though it will be shortlived, this heatwave could be remarkable for its momentum and intensity,” the forecaster said in a bulletin.

France’s health minister, Agnès Buzyn, warned local authorities, hospitals and retirement homes to be on high alert, noting that last summer’s heatwave resulted in 1,500 more deaths than normal in July and August.

That's ugly. I'm working on getting used to using Celsius and 30 is the number that I don't want to go above.

Just drink a lot of excellent cheap red and ogle the hot women, who are numerous, wearing little. You'll be fine.

Yay me. Going to be in Florence in the middle of this next week. Supposed to be 100+ the days we are there. I guess the museums will have good air conditioning.

It was 40 when I went to Bucharest two summers ago. I thought I was going to die. It was probably similar to Paris at 40. However I wouldn't know, I've never been to Paris.

I have been in Paris when it is hot. Make sure your accommodations have A/C, if not change them. Ours did and it was huge.

Rodin Museum with the trees in the back courtyard is a good place on a hot day.

If walking any distance just plan on stop for cold beer (and ice cream if there are kids in the group) every 1 km or so. We did that and everyone was happy - particularly the kids.
