I don’t mind saying Egan has the worst sunglass frames ever made - what company thought those were cool?

Worse than those giant things Simon Yates wears? “Hey kid - give your dad his shades back”

Notice that all of the guys on the podium today wore their shades over their hats - except Bernal...

So I'm in yellow going into the final stage. You guys have to let me win now, right?

That’s not how this one works...
There is stills sprint stage and jersey points to determine the winner.

I don't think 3rd place, Fuck The ASO (ICEHOCKEY77), is in the fight tomorrow. He does not have the Jersey Points to to overtake 1st or 2nd.
The difference between 1st place, Riding Off to Glory (Garth Bimble), and 2nd place EPO (Dee Hubbs) is 123 points, and I think I will have approximately 125 more Jersey Points that Garth after tomorrow.
So it will come down to how our riders perform in the stage results. And we have 4 of the same riders and I assume the same captain. So it should come down to only a few points between 4 different riders.
Or my math could be way off....

My choices for captain come down to Sagan, Colbrelli or Matthews

Sagan is the guy I’d love to see get the stage, or even Ewan (who I don’t have), but this stage may suit Viviani or Groenewegen better

Should be a good final 7 laps

I think your math is pretty close actually. You're going to do well on bonus points for the white jersey.

Since Le Tour turned to a weather-induced shambles, I went for a 7.4 miles hike, unconcerned for Saturday's stage. The Zone was looking extra nice.

At 2760' I went on a recon mission of 1.24 miles. Along the way, I sheltered under a fir thicket when a rain shower pummeled the mountain for about six minutes. A curious Thrush sang to me for a couple of minutes as the rain started, but, when the rain got to it's max rate, we both fell silent.

Legs wobbly today, which surprises me a bit

So, I missed the finale. Watched final kilometer on youtube. Was there some kind of a clusterfuck in the lead out trains? Particularly Quickstep? I mean, how did Richeze end up first across the line for DQS?

Regardless, congrats to icehocey77. Well played

Chapeau to ICEHOCEY77...I questioned your strategy but I certainly can't argue with it now. PM your mailing address and I'll send you a 10 spot (don't do all this new fangled electronic shit).

Thanks to all for playing, was definitely an interesting tour.

There were a bunch of ugly ass shades this year. It was almost as if there was a secret competition to see who could wear the ugliest sunglasses. Bernal won that competition too.

Sweet, thanks guys. I've been at a wedding all weekend in Charleston so only got to see snippets of the last three stages (looked like a giant cluster). Was drunkenly trying to figure out my team at 3AM this morning while being three sheets to the wind after a night bouncing around King St. Congrats to Dee Hubbs and Garth for an excellent job as well, was neck and neck all the way to the end.

Paypal is: icehocey77@yahoo.com (note: no K in hocey, thanks 1990s AOL character limits)
Have venmo too if you need it
    I'll send the address too.

Vuelta starts in less than a month!

Looks like him and Sags got squeezed, but I'm sure his legs were fried from having to do so much work in the mountains.
