She picked six 20 point sprinters, and left 2 riders blank. Beaches she didn’t have 8 riders her score didn’t count.
I didnt realize this last night while we were discussing riders.
She’ll add 2 more to make a full team for tomorrow’s TTT.

If he’s outside of 100 place he gets no points.

With his cash: that fucking Cop was standing INSIDE the fence, when the crash happened he jumped back and pushed his fence back which scissored out the next fence, that jumped out right in front of Thomas.
From what I originally saw was that he was in full control moving straight ahead and a fence jumped out infront of him.
I went for a bike ride before the analysis and I’ll have to look at the replay tonight.

GT was given the same time as the lead group, but finished 111.

Cop pushed fence, which results in another fence jumping out:

Hard to tell but it doesn't look like the fence is actually jutting out, it just appears that way because of the section that's pushed back. If you compare the distance of the fence from the white line where the cop is standing it looks the same in both pics. Maybe it came out and was pushed back. I haven't seen replay.

Hard to tell but it looks like GT might have hit the triangular fence stands. They stick out about a foot from the vertical part.

My big question is how bad GT will be hurting tomorrow in TTT. Can Inios win it without Froome and with a beat up Thomas? Can quickstep beat them?

Tune in tomorrow to see my choice. It will likely change several times between now and cutoff time

I think this is BS, the reason the fence is 'jutting out" is because he's hanging on to it after he crashed.

So without giving away your strategy, any thoughts on tomorrow's stage? I've read the finish will be similar to the Fleche Wallonne, with a climb like the Mur de Huy at the end, so it's a climber's stage.

    Or not?

Actually I’m thinking about trading Viviani for Van Aevermatt.. The “sprint” stages are kinda hilly this year. Want to see how EV performs tomorrow before deciding

Classic puncher stage tomorrow. Could see a guy like Matthews or Van Aert win the day, obviously Sagan and Alaphillipe also in the mix.

It's definitely going to be a tough week for the pure sprinters but a lot of opportunity for the breaks. Tony Martin is available for 8 points and he's the kind of rider that could take a stage this week...hmmmm.

You can use 50 credits to change a rider, as long that rider's "point value" is the same or less than the one you're replacing. You only get 400 credits for the whole race though, so keep that in mind.

You may have no choice if one of your riders abandons, so keep that in mind also.

Pure sprinters will not be able to hang on in the final climbs within the last 30km to finish.
Its more puncheurs or a classics specialists stage.
    Lots of expensive options like: Alaphillippe(21), Segan (20), Valverde(18), Matthews(18), Van Avermaet(17), Colbrelli(16), Wout Van Aert(16).
    Some cheaper guys: Woods(14), Schachman(12), Naesen(12), Mohoric(11), T. De Gent(10), Pasqualon(10).

Is it too early to start making changes? I still need these sprinters for the pure sprint stages: 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, and 21. Hummm, I think i just answered my own question....

Valverde would do well on a course like tomorrow...
Wonder if Movistar has greenlighted him for certain stages...

Don't give me too much credit Dee, I'm the one fishing here.

BTW, congrats to the wife on the 2nd place finish.
