Yes! And I had thoughts of trading him out. Today’s win takes me from 8th to 5th in our league!

2019 TDF Fantasy Game (with Spoiler Alerts)

Is there anyway possible that Trek/Segafredo could have fucked that stage up even more than they did? I should be the director sportif for that lame ass team.

I traded Izagirre yesterday for Meurisse, which turned out to my benefit...pleased to add some points, but still riding near the back for now...

I went for a bike ride this morning instead of watching the last hour of the race. Sounds like a good finish. Looks like I will have to watch it tonight and make some picks for tomorrow.

Every time Phil says Team Ineos it sounds like "Team Idiots" to me.

Went for a ride after yesterday's stage (8). Yup, went out way too hot. All of a sudden the NH state line sign took my notice, as did the sign "You are entering Plaistow". Wound up seeking shade most of the way home, logging 3056' vert in a 71 miler . Pickle juice stilled the bands of piano wire in the legs, thereby enabling sleep. MTB tomorrow.

Those guys in Le Tour are amazing, 4 times the vert at over twice the pace. Pretty cool to see Impey score today.

2019 TDF Fantasy Game (with Spoiler Alerts)

Best first ten days of racing I can remember. Wout is a beast!
I like where Dan Martin is, kinda hiding, waiting for the Pyrenees.
I’m expecting big things from him.

Every year about this time, the peloton splits due to a crosswind and somebody's (or several somebodies') Tour aspirations go poof.
And it's not like it was a big surprise - Jensie broadcast his convo with Katusha about crosswinds ahead.
Quintana managed to be in the front this year, for a big change
Bad luck for Landa to get a mechanical at exactly the wrong time

I was thinking that a Cross rider beat the remaining Sprinters.

Yup, tough on Landa's hopes. As for the split in the peloton....snooze, and lose. Amazing that it happens at all, the teams must have it in their book after all these years.

How bout EF, they started the split, and then they got shelled by the big men. Luke Rowe, Gianni Moscon, Daniel Oss and Markus Berghart put the hammer down!

say what you will about Sky/Ineos but they are always on the ball to not miss a move like that. Likewise Quickstep and Sagan. And chapeau WVA, can't wait for Van Der Poel and him to mix it up next year. Assuming olympics don't get in the way.

Mike Teunissen came up thru cross racing too...

ETA - Seems as though Landa didn’t have a mechanical today. He crashed due to wheel touch with Barguil

In other news, a couple of fans think mooning the peloton is smart. Sonny Colbrelli leaves a handprint on one’s ass in passing.

Interesting strategy by ICEHOCKEY...I think he's got pretty much every pure sprinter left in the tour on his roster.

There is a sprint stage on Stage 13 and again on stage 21 . But they are not much use for the rest of the mountain stages.

I'm guessing he'll replace some of them with GC/Climbers before the mountain stages start. It will be interesting to see how it works out.
