Let me know when another floyd Landis like solo breakaway win happens. The standard drama is just not that exciting.

Best tour in years. When was the last time there wasn’t a team that could ride tempo all day and grind the rest of the GC contenders to dust?

This thing is still wide open. Somebody will have a great day in the Alps, my money is on Pinot.

I sold Viviani after stage 8 and bought Pinot. I’ve trusted him since then. He proved his strength on the Tourmalet and again the the next day.

Thomas needs to stay on his bike. That is something like 6 crashes this season.
Lance was saying that in his 11 years he crashed 1.5 times, and you can't win the tour if you crash.
Even if your don't really get injured during the crash it effects the rider. You sleep differently with wounds sticking to the sheets, massage is different because they are avoiding the raw spots. You shift on your bike to divert pain form a wound. For the amount of energy conservation that needs to happen, too much energy is exerted reacting to small aches and pains.

Nice for Caleb. Tough for Jakob.

Argh. I forgot to switch my captain after yesterday’s stage. Go Sagan!

That's my choice also but I didn't really have a good breakaway option. We'll see.

Is it just me or is Horner starting to get on anyone else's nerves?

Fack, our cable provider shit the bed all over the county this AM. And the NBCSN feed sucks over a cell phone connection.

Things are tough in the rural west.

Do you have an android streaming device? If so download the "Mobdro" app. It's got NBCSN and Eurosport.

Nope, no working ‘droid devices. But thanks for the idea.
And I have a guy still in the break!
    ETA - not any more...
ETA2 - just got cable back - shortly after the break finished...

I had DeGent as a breakaway option and woke up this morning to change the my captain, and missed the time cut by 2 minutes. I guess if we all have Sagan picked no one will make significant grounds on each other... unless ICEHOCKEY77 picked Asgreen as his captain?

Time to put the kit on and go for a ride. Note to self, "Take it easy, solo breaks 25k out are way too inspirational."

Looks like Thomas and Kruijswijk are losing some good soldiers:
    http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/luke...our-de-france/

I saw Rowe's move on Martin but not Martin's punch/shove? on Rowe - but I was surprised the commentators were making such a big deal of it.

Weird Euro's and their "no-contact" sports.

Fawk, I just put Luke Rowe in a few days ago after one of my riders crashed out. I'm glad I still have some changes left.

Fuck, today is the first day I got any points out of Rowe - and now, DENIED!

i see video of Martin's transgression but don't see Rowe's - what did he do? Any decent video, 'cause I can't find any
